Evorec, evoluted solutions for plastic and rubber recycling

At a time when the recovery of plastic materials plays a key role in the field of the Circular Economy, we have studied and designed specific extruders to grant high product quality, even when using recycled materials.

It is this commitment to give life to Evorec (EVOLUTED RECYCLING), an entire range of solutions offered by Maris in the field of plastic and rubber recycling.

Evorec Plastic

Our proposal for plastic recycling aims at promoting sustainability and at reducing the environmental impact by maximizing the life cycle of this material.

The two adopted solutions are: Evorec Plastic and Evorec Plastic Plus.

The first exploits the efficiency of a single extruder, while Evorec Plastic Plus is the solution for the recycling of ‘upcycled’ plastics through a two-phase process that allows the reuse of highly contaminated materials with high percentages of humidity. This has made it possible to recycle very critical materials within a single plant, using a single-screw extruder and the MARIS co-rotating twin-screw extruder.

Evorec Rubber

Rubber recycling occurs through devulcanization, a process that not only allows an efficient use of waste, but also offers the possibility to obtaining a secondary raw material, helping to reduce costs and the consumption of virgin material. As with plastic, there are also two solutions adopted for rubber recycling: Evorec Rubber and Evorec Rubber Plus. Evorec Rubber Plus is the two-stage high-performance devulcanization process to produce devulcanized rubber with very high-quality standards. The first phase involves a corotating twin-screw extruder, while the second is given by the combination with a single-screw extruder and a screen changer.
