devices and in the automotive industry has greatly developed an already rapidly expanding sector and today, many plants for the production of these special films use our extruders.<\/p>\n<p>The separators used in litium batteries are generally microporous, polyolefin-based films, which are interposed between the anode and cathode in order to block the direct flow of electrons between the two poles, but allow ionic conduction in the electrolyte, through its porosity.<\/p>\n<p>Maris extruders have been designed to obtain a <b>high mixing between the polymeric material and high percentages of mineral oil<\/b> and \u2013 in the phases following the extrusion \u2013 the film is subjected to stretching and oil evaporation treatments in order to obtain the thicknesses and the desired
